Scott H. Chen, Chairman of YATEC, was recently invited to speak at the “20th Anniversary Forum of the Taiwan ESCO Association,” joining Bureau of Energy and ESCO Association leadership, and leaders from government, industry, and academia for in-depth discussions on energy efficiency trends, AI applications, measurement & verification (M&V) mechanisms, and the future development of Taiwan’s ESCO industry.

As a key driver of industrial carbon reduction, YATEC fully supports TECO’s initiative to build an energy savings ecosystem, combining TECO’s strengths in power system equipment, green financing and resources with YATEC’s extensive hands-on experience in industrial automation and process optimization to expand the impact of energy-saving services.

YATEC focuses on energy-saving solutions for high energy-consuming industries, including medium to high-voltage system optimization, automation of process and utility equipment, and implementation of EMS (Energy Management Systems).

Scott H. Chen emphasized: “YATEC has built domain expertise in steel, petrochemical, pulp & paper, and water resource sectors. We understand the operational challenges and are capable of improving production efficiency while helping clients achieve carbon reduction and build competitive, sustainable operations.”

Moving forward, YATEC will work closely with TECO Group and partners across industries to provide end-to-end energy-saving services—from diagnostics and planning to implementation and O&M—becoming a key enabler in Taiwan’s transition toward intelligent, low-carbon industrial transformation.
